Biodiversity and
Bioethics
Or
Biodiversity and Power of Matter
(Temporary Translation)
Before addressing the delicate relationship between
biodiversity and Bioethics is necessary to focus on certain
terms, such as the concept of Ethics.
Ethics (the term derives from the greek έθος that is
"conduct", "character", "custom") is the branch of
philosophy that studies the basis of objective and rational
that can distinguish human endeavours good, righteous,
morally or lawful, compared with behaviour considered
morally bad or inappropriate. You can also define ethics as
the search for one or more criteria that allow the
individual to properly manage their freedom, it is also a
rational consideration of the limits within which human
freedom can be extended.
But Freedom is not static but a period of movement; movement
compared to something or someone. Deadline subject to
verification of their autonomy (physical and spiritual)
related to the autonomy of other beings, and things factors.
Freedom is therefore subject to rules and any rule is
subject knowledge. Ultimately there can be no ethics
Knowledge.
Now soffermiamoci on the concept of epistemology.
The epistemology is the branch of philosophy that deals with
the conditions under which you can have scientific knowledge
and methods to attain that knowledge, as also the etymology
of the word, which derives from the Greek words "episteme"
(science, certain knowledge) and "logos" (speech). In a more
restricted epistemology may be identified with the
philosophy of science, the discipline that deals with the
fundamentals of the various scientific disciplines.
But what are the principles that have generated the modern
epistemology? It was founded to date on postulates of
Thought Illuministico philosophical.
We know that the Enlightenment was born and develops between
the English Revolution (1688) and the French Revolution
(1789). It, among other principles wanted to say with force,
among others, two aspects:
1) exaltation of reason, whose field investigation but must
narrow the reality scientifically ascertained, omitting any
religious or metaphysical speculation;
2) the critical review of history, the rejection of
tradition considered a source of prejudice and endorsement
of institutions without rational foundation.
In stating these principles and apply the Thought
Illuministico has behaved similarly to the cognitive ability
of our eyes. If we analyze the spectrum of electromagnetic
radiation we realize that we have the ability to detect a
magnitude of values that is around at 4. 10-7.
It is certainly a limited perception to be able to say that
with our visus all understand the reality that surrounds us.
Equal to say that if I were to translate into reality and
rationalize just what I see sfuggirebbe (rationally) almost
everything.
The application exasperated Enlightenment thought (although
useful philosophy to exit from the swamps of the Middle
Ages) has however led man to a partial view of the Cosmos.
Vision, which translated into culture, science and
technology has enabled us to build a system of logic and
Human far across the logic of Biological Systems.
What unites the two is the logical requirements Energy.
Just these two "schools of thought" two systems have evolved
with different models.
For example clarifying can say that the systems humans have
experimented mechanistic models to draw energy and movement
(such as the cycle of eight engines outbreak); biological
systems were used (in most cases) of the Krebs cycle.
The two systems preside over both the production of energy
from oxidizable substances and the cycle but eight is
concerned the limit to get a good performance, the Krebs
cycle is concerned to obtain energy, accumulandola, adapting
to different systems with a model complexity ordered that
modern technology is not yet able to emulate.
The substantial difference between the two systems is that
the Biological Systems have had to be adjusted and
SINCRONIZZARE to more complex thermodynamic machine that
exists: the Planet Earth; systems realizing maximum
variability, lower energy and thus more efficient.
The systems are based on human models for highly
specialized, high energy consumption and ultimately with low
yields (pollute too).
In matrix quadridimensionale underlying the machine
thermodynamics Planet Earth we are still primitive and
crude.
Now, briefly recalling the principles of thermodynamics, we
realize that the Biological Systems have complessizzati to
raise the point maximum possible energy efficiency that
comes from solar energy and that of our planet.
In biological systems each organism behaves as a machine
thermodynamics. Every single machine thermodynamics of
biological system not only uses solar energy and land but
also of "waste processing" other bodies working in final as
a "Living Single Body."
What we do today is not included (from the Policy Research)
is that every body is useful in the service of others.
Togliendone go to a decrease in the functioning of the
system and several pieces lose more evil work my Ecosystem.
In short: the value dell'Entropia that in biological systems
thermodynamic assumes certain values, as the system degrades
(loses pieces) is growing increasingly to the detriment of
the overall performance of our biological machine. To use a
term so dear and unfortunately in our city, a degraded
ecosystem uses evil energy available and thus pollute more.
The value is growing dell'Entropia for all systems
thermodynamic a scale measuring pollution and nezanesljivih
energy.
Now the systems humans have interacted transversely on
biological systems because they do not understand the logic
in the template.
We (and unfortunately we do still) thought for a long time
that some of the shares could be exploited at will creandoci
wealth, we have removed other parts, as well as specializing
in agriculture, or kicking every day and indiscriminately
portions of territory.
We acted like the mechanic who, in a machine to disassemble
the end advance pieces and we do not understand it will
feature its usefulness.
Our models are now prehistoric development, we can not adapt
to the needs of the most advanced model Ecosistemico
perfect.
The rationalist culture (rooted in Enlightenment thought)
developed until today is reductionist, it is no longer
suitable to the demands of the new times.
Man is a promoter of progress but may not have the
presumption that this goes in the right direction until
investigates the world only through the eyes of the personal
advantage. This equation is now insufficient development of
the future of humanity.
We must begin to see the world as a manifestation of energy
complex forms. The Biodiversity is a form energy organized
complexity. The energy level of each monad small ecosystem
is related to monad closer but also monads
spaziotemporalmente distant. No one can enter and exit from
this model ipercomplesso with ease and the ease with which
you enter or exit a room. Every time we enter or leave these
rooms will irreversibly change the appearance and
functionality.
In final Ecological Systems and Budget Systems (note the
same prefix ECO) must move on the same footing and given
that we can not act on those biological must necessarily do
it on the socio.
We need to substantially revise our way and then behavioural
sensitive towards the world. Where Political System, System
Scientific and Social System are the three functions of a
single logic.
The equation Illuministica which stated:
"Triumph of Reason, whose field investigation but must
narrow the reality scientifically ascertained, omitting any
religious or metaphysical speculation."
It must be turned into:
"Prudent use of reason, whose field investigation should
explore all the realities, experiences and cultures; ridando
dignity of metaphysical speculation."
We came to the threshold of history that step where the
horizon is so broad that the secrets of matter exceed the
finite to the Infinite to rejoin.
The slow but inexorable move and evolution of human
civilization brought to Male System collide with the
Ecosystem.
As happens in the clash between the two galaxies systems
suffer this mutual influence modifying any previous balance
and knowledge in a form Ethics and Cultural new.
We can say as Thomas Aquinas: "All our knowledge can only
open the door on new questions, and each discovery is only
the beginning of a new science" but is even more accurate to
say, always at the suggestion of the Italian philosopher and
theologian , that: "You do not have the truth, but the truth
is that possesses you."
